Ron Fletcher

Entergy Texas, Inc.

Ron is an Industrial Account Executive where he oversees large industrial projects for Entergy in a growing Southeast Texas region. He is originally from Washington DC where he was born and raised. He graduated from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC with a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science. Ron received his Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. He also received his commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy through NCCU’s Naval ROTC program. Ron served 20 years with the Navy both on the west coast (where he made two Western Pacific deployments) and on the east coast. Through the leadership skills he learned, he was promoted to and retired as a Naval Commander.

Ron transitioned to Entergy when he went from active duty to a reservist with the Navy. He fulfilled many roles in his 34 years thus far with Entergy. His roles included the following: Management and Supervisory Trainer, Product Manager, Claims Management Specialist, Call Center Manager, Customer Service Manager and his current role as an Industrial Account Executive. In his most recent roles as Customer Service Manager and Industrial Account Executive, it has allowed him to participate on many boards including Past Chair of the United Way of Mid and South Jefferson County, Past Chair of the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Rotary Club of Port Arthur; as well as current board member of the Foundation for Southeast Texas, Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County, and the Lamar Institute of Technology Foundation.

The benefits of the numerous board opportunities and leadership roles has allowed Ron to share his knowledge with other current and future leaders.
