Rachel Grove began her legal career at the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in 2008, where she served for 11 years. Since 2019, she has worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Rachel is a proud alumna of All Saints Episcopal School and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School. After graduating in 2001, she attended Baylor University, earning her degree in Political Science summa cum laude. She went on to receive her law degree from Baylor Law School, graduating with a concentration in criminal law.
Community service has always been central to Rachel’s life. She has served in numerous leadership roles, including as Senior Warden and member of the Vestry at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, President of the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association, President of the Symphony League of Beaumont, and President of the All Saints Episcopal School Board, among others.
In 2017, Rachel was honored as the Jefferson County Young Lawyer of the Year. She is also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation—an honor extended to fewer than one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys, based on their dedication to the administration of justice and distinguished professional reputation among their peers.
Rachel believes deeply in the power of giving—whether time, talent, or treasure—and lives by the principle that in life, you get back what you put in.
