"I have been in the credit union industry for 7.5 years, employed as the Vice President of Accounting for Sabine Federal Credit Union. Through this position, I have gained experience in accounting, strategic planning, product implementation, call centers, team management, member service, payments, and other banking services. The credit union’s “people helping people” way of service invokes passion and purpose in myself, and I enjoy staying active in our local industry and community. I am a third-year student of Southwest CUNA Management School and a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Finance & Banking and Financial Institutions. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Sabine Chapter of Credit Unions, which is the charter organization for all credit unions in Southeast Texas. I strive daily to improve in all areas I’m involved in and look forward to learning how I can add value to the Foundation for Southeast Texas so we may in turn, serve local nonprofits."
