I am the Controller for the Nelda C. & H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation in Orange, Texas, and have worked there since February 2017 when I was hired as the Senior Accountant. The Stark Foundation operates the Stark Museum of Art, the W.H. Stark House, the Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts, and Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center; so I am the de facto Controller for each of those wonderful venues. My time at the Stark Foundation has opened my eyes to all the incredible work nonprofits do in serving our communities. Working in the nonprofit world is something I am very proud of and passionate about, so I am excited to be able to utilize my nonprofit financial and operational skills, knowledge, and experience while serving on this Board. Prior to my time at the Stark Foundation, I worked at a CPA firm in Beaumont for 4+ years as a Professional Staff Accountant. I graduated from Lamar University with a BBA in Accounting in 2012, and a Master of Science in Accounting in 2016. I became a licensed CPA by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2021. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Royalty Owners. I completed the Leadership Strategies of Champions course at the University of Alabama in 2025. I married my beautiful wife, Erica, in 2023 and became a girl-dad to Eleanor in 2024.
